Good morning and welcome back! I haven't posted in a while, and I do apologize for that, but the grind continues. Today, I'm going to use my post to talk to you about my life after High School. Due to my concussion, I wasn't able to apply to too many colleges in the Fall. I applied to three UCs and one private. I ended up getting rejected from UCSD, UCSB, and the private, but accepted to my top school, Berkeley. I intend on going this coming school year, but might need to delay it and take a gap year to heal and ensure that I can keep up with the rigor.
I would like to pursue a degree in Applied Mathematics, but I have no clue what I'm really doing. When I was younger, I was fascinated by Computer Sciences, the idea that I could create any game, any program drove me to learn a lot about it. However, as I got older, I realized I just thought of it as a hobby, my true passion lies in Math.
I don't know what I hope to get from this degree. I've thought of becoming a professor and teaching everything I learned, of working in finances or what not, and of living off the streets because of my crippling debt. I do not know what the future holds.
As for this title, I wanted something math related and that's the first thing that came to mind. I understand that it's not the best title, but I can't be bothered to come up with a better one.
